STRATEGY · FIRST SHIFT: FROM 4 MINUTES

Tomorrow
Bay

After a storm, the bay needs a coordinator. Maya and Tim are people; Nika is an AI assistant — fast, but she takes new tasks literally, by the manifest. You decide who does what, what to teach by example and when to step in yourself.

A scene from the game

THE FIRST SHIFT

Several jobs, three pairs of hands

Nika takes a lantern to the square, and the jobs pile up straight away: a broken pier, a second lantern, unsorted cargo, a sign for the guests. Two people and an AI assistant, with the jobs running in parallel. After every decision you see what changed in the bay.

A team with different strengths

Maya is the pier master. Tim coordinates the square and reads the guests. Nika and Sam are AI: quick to plan, carry and observe, but they don’t know what nobody has shown them. People run out of energy; AI runs out of charge.

Decisions change the town

Assign jobs, show an example, delegate familiar tasks, send tired people to rest, move stalls and choose routes. The effects show up right away: in the queues, on the routes, in how residents feel.

AI mistakes look plausible

Nika files the crates by the manifest, and the plants end up in a dark storeroom. You can fix the mistake afterwards or prevent it: show an example before you hand over the job.

SIX SHIFTS · ONE BAY

What comes after the first ferry?

  1. The first ferryLight, the pier, the cargo and the first guests. Open to everyone.
  2. The waterfront marketQueues at the stalls: find the bottleneck first, then change the layout.
  3. An evening in the gardenResidents want different things: music, quiet, shade. One plan won’t suit everyone.
  4. The foggy crossingThe old map doesn’t know the tide. What do you check on site before sending the cargo?
  5. The long dayThe team gets tired. Training, handovers and breaks decide whether the shift lasts until evening.
  6. Tomorrow without hintsThe team handles familiar work on its own, within limits you set. New situations still come to you.

A small town, a big question

How does a manager’s job change once AI joins the team? Tomorrow Bay shows it through a fictional team and the consequences of your decisions. The game is a local simulation: it calls no AI models and does not assess real employees.
